My Own Odyssey: Ulysses (The Wandering Rocks)

I am currently on page 255.

The last section I read was very bizarre. If not for the great web site Elizabeth gave me (http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/ulysses/summary.html) I would have had no idea what was going on. It was basically 19 stories about happenings around Dublin.

I took a few days off reading to let Elizabeth catch up.

    I am actually liking this section.....
    The shakespeare section was waaaaaaaaaaay above my head. I think it was good to have a hint of what was going on thanks to sparknotes.
    I'm trying hard to catch up......back on track.

    I agree about the sparknotes. Do you read them first or after? The last section I read them first and it helped me understand what I was reading.

    I am only reading the plot summaries, anything more in depth is way beyond me at this moment.

    I usually read sparknotes before to get a general sense of what's going on.....
