My Own Odyssey: Ulysses (Sirens)

I am on page 292.

I tried something very interesting with this last section.  I read most of it out loud.  Episode Eleven was titled "Sirens" by SparkNotes so I thought hearing the section might be a good idea.  I was right.  It was very rythmic.  Even thought I understood only patches, I liked the section.

    I hope Patrick is not right. I made the mistake of stopping to finish two other books. That was a BIG mistake.

    Try reading the section "Sirens" out loud. It worked for me.

    Hallelujah!!!!!! I finished wandering rocks and will start on Sirens tonight. I really liked and thought it was poignant when Stephen met his sister and was worried about drowning. The pull to help but the fear of getting entangled in her situation.

    I finished Sirens. I read 1/2 out loud. I read the last half without reading the notes and understood very little.
