Cooking with Fernet Branca

I loved this book. It
was entertainingly funny as well as being exceedingly wacky. Gerald
is an inept buffoon who is battling his neighbor, Marta, a plagiaristic
composer. The story is told from each of
their perspective giving hilarious interpretations to similar scenes.
From Gerald’s bizarre recipes to Marta’s Mafioso
family to UFO encounters to the filming of the next great movie blockbuster to
boy bands to who knows where, humor and Fernet Branca is sure to be close by.
